In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Albert H. George, 95, of St. Thomas who peacefully entered eternal rest at his home on Father's Day, June 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a respected civil engineer, contractor, community servant, and beloved family patriarch.

A graduate of Charlotte Amalie High School and Tennessee A&I State University in 1956  Albert served as Chief Engineer for the Department of Public Works and later co-owned George and Benjamin General Contractors, contributing to many schools, public buildings, and infrastructure projects throughout St. Thomas. He was also a dedicated member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Tau Beta Alpha Club, Harmonic Lodge, and the Gentlemen of Savan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Ford George.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted children, Cleve-Allan George, Denise Naomi George, and Eloi Albert George; daughters-in-law Fatu Ba George and Rosetta George; son-in-law Luis Sylvester; grandchildren Chioke-Naomi George, Cleve-Allan George II, Cubie-Ayah George, Richard Bernard Counts II, Chunikwa Odelita George, Kmisha-Victoria Naomi Counts, Cequoyah Aaliyah George, Ford Muna George, Goddess Emma George, Czade Osirus George, Czakem Horus George, and Cherifa Mariama George; great-grandchildren Nyalah Victoria Jackson, Caissa Victoria John, Naomi Sonia-Marie Jackson, Cemi-Leila John, Marley Michael Allen Jackson, Jordan Ethan John, and Sage Analeia Mills; nieces and nephews Jaime George, Donna George, Anthea George, Barbara George, Renne "Chip" George, Lecia "Debbie" George, and Chico George; along with many cousins, extended relatives, many dear friends, and loved ones, including the Gumbs, Francis, Richardson, Lewis, Crawley, Ford, Hairston, Maduro, Benjamin, and Monsanto families.
