In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Alfred J. Williams, also known as "Brother Hobson"101, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 at   Queen Louise Home for the Aged.

He is from Webbe Ground - Ginger Land, Nevis. He lived 101 years and enjoyed love, laughter, and blessings.Alfred was a lifelong dedicated member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ, Estate Hoffman, St. Thomas for more than five decades.

Alfred was preceded in death by his wife Ophelia Williams, sons Vernon 'Boy-Blue' and Orville Williams, and stepson Sylvester Williams. Mother Florence Williams, and Father Jackson Hobson. Sisters: Bernadine Weekes, Rosetta Arthurton, brother Claudius 'Twine' Hobson. He is survived by his daughters: Inez 'Vida' Brookes, and Paulette Wade; son Eustace 'Goofy' Williams, step-daughters: Leslie Ryan, and Louise Williams; nieces: Heliana 'Hilly' Liburd, Sandra and Alberta Arthurton, Caroline Hobson-Barry; nephews: Danieland Eugene Arthurton, Samuel Hobson;Grandchildren: Jillian Phillip, Nigel, Bethlyn, Kim, Chisa 'Kandy' Brookes, and Patrice Hyatt, Omori, Chloé and Payton Wade, Orville, Tyonda, Ahyonda,and Jayonda Williams; great-grandchildren: Nya and Nigel Brookes, Jr., Trystyn Hyatt, Madison and Mason Davis, Amoi David; adopted-grandchildrenAshanaca 'Pumpkin' Newton, Katish and KasroyRyan, Katricia Adams; step-grandson Phillip 'Daddy-O' Wade, Jr. Special-godchildren Monelle Charles, Rashaun Felicien; sisters-in-law: Claudette Morton, Leanola 'Lee" Hobson; brothers-in-law: Joseph 'Henry' Smith, Denzil Morton, Wilbert Morton, and Spencer Morton; sons-in-law: Edred Brookes, Phillip Wade, Sr., and many other relatives and cousins that are too numerous to mention.Special Friends: Theodore Powell, Christopher Felicien, Sister Belinda Millard, and Minister Abbott and Family, James Gumbs & Recaldo Grant (Lucinda Millin Home), Herman Christopher (Queen Louise Home for the Aged), Eugenie John, Cardina Rivera, Shenay Liburd, Seraphine Samuel, Averil Williams, Pearl Bennett, Winston Bonner, Sharon Nibbs, Telma Destouche, Monelle Charles, Valerie Browne, Corporal L.
