In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Mrs. Anita Irene C. Williams, 78, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Monday, March 04, 2024.

Minister Williams was a native Virgin Islander, long-time educator and administrator in the Virgin Islands Department of Education, charter member of the teachers' union, a Realtor, an active member of the body of Christ and a minister at Word of Faith International Christian Center in St. Thomas.  Minister Williams was an engaged Virgin Islands community member, with a passion for praise and worship and prayer.

She is preceded in death by her husband Senator Lloyd L. Williams, father Darwin Creque, and mother Clarissa (Jackson) Creque.  She is survived by her daughters Lisa  (Rickie) Williams Norman and Taya Leonard; grandchildren Matai Leonard and Zaiden Norman, Sarah Hanicia 'Nici' Norman, Kalani Norman, Tameka Francis, I'vanya Hobson, Bria Richardson; special daughters Vernell Stevens, Alicia Richardson; sister-in-law Trecia Galiber Isaac; brothers-in-law Bernard 'Young Blood' Williams, Sr., Keith (Rose) Nicholson; nieces and nephews LaVerne, Laurie, Lorn (Rose), Lloyd (Katie), Laura, Bernard Jr. 'Marlo', Keith 'Iron', Lloyd, Kurt, Shawn, Keith Jr, Pasha, Pashima, Shelma, Kahlea, Bernadine; special sisters Elsie (Leon) Monsanto and Diane (Raymond) George; special niece and nephews Tameka Monsanto, Troy Mahoney, Tizone Mahoney, Gayland George, Sedao George; special cousins Dr. Leah Creque, Drs.
