In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Carol Stagger William, 79, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Wednesday, September 09, 2026.

Carol was a Registered Nurse who dedicated her life to the care, comfort, and healing of others. Carol departed this life leaving behind a beautiful legacy of compassion, selflessness, service, and profound love for her family and community.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Elizabeth and Alanzo Stagger; her sisters, Linda Goodluck and Era Vicars; and her brothers, Albian Stagger and Alanzo Stagger Jr.

Carol’s memory will forever be cherished and kept alive by her devoted husband, Mr. Clifford Lionel Williams, and her loving family, including her sisters, Ava Stagger and Gloria Stagger; stepdaughter, Latoya Saunders; sisters-in-law, Anna Phipps, Mavis Berkley, Shelia Burke, Paulette Snagg, and Iantha Williams; and brothers-in-law, Stanley Berkley, Ernest Burke, Rapheal Snagg, and Derek Williams.

She also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, cousins, extended family members, friends, and colleagues—far too many to list, but each deeply loved and cherished.
