Capt Clifton A Bones Sr. was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey A. Boynes;his parents, Loredon Boynes Sr. and Vashti A. Parson Boynes; his wife, Lydia E. H. Boynes; his brothers, Loredon "Bucky" Boynes Jr. and Noel Boynes Sr.; his adopted son, Ralph "Tony" Lanclos; and his nephew, Jeremy J. Ronan.

He is survived by his daughters, Lori M. Boynes and Juanita Mondesir; his sons, Capt. Clifton A. Boynes Jr., Clifford Boynes, Capt. Arthur Barkely Dorway, and Capt. Sean A. Whyte Jr.; his sisters, Bernice Boynes Pearson, Karen Boynes, and June Boynes; one aunt, Leona Parson Escelera; a special granddaughter, Chardonnay M. Tyson Boynes; grandchildren, Capt. Kareem A. Boynes, Capt. Qeion Boynes, Shaquan Tyson, Jevon Boynes, Ashley Doway, and Alexis Doway; great-grandchildren, Kaeden Boynes and Niquan Boynes; along with numerous nieces, nephews, adopted sons,special cousins, friends, and extended family who will continue to honor his life and legacy.
