Cynthelia will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Marvin Turnbull, and her cherished children: Patricia "Pat" Henry Merchant (Brooklyn, NY), Debra "Debbye" Turnbull (Brooklyn, NY),  Deniece "DeeDee" Turnbull (St. Thomas, VI),  Mervin " Butchie" Turnbull (Woodmere, NY), Gervin "Gervie"  Turnbull (West Palm Beach, FL). Cynthelia is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Charles Elias "Fletcher" George and Roselia Eliza "Rose" Dawson George; her dear children Shirley McIntosh and Phyllis Jackson; her brothers Uric Hedrington, Sidney E. George Sr., Vancito George, Wilmoth George, Ephel George, and Audaine George; sisters Ruth Lesmora George, Adeline Gibbs, Marigold Torres, and Clarisa Durante; as well as her grandchildren Shuana Parilla Rawlins and Malachi Turnbull. She also leaves behind many treasured cousins, and friends.

The extended family includes the George, Dawson, Turnbull, Industrious, Crabbe, Venzen, Frett, Stout, Green, Penn, Potter, Pickering, O'Neal, Lettsome, and Rabsatt families in Tortola and beyond.
