She is proceeded in death by her Grandmother Octavia Matthias, Husband Edwin Dawson, Son Desire Dawson Grandson Derion Blyden, Sisters: Eleanor Sealey, Bernice King & Beatrice Hodge, Brother: Antonio Nibbs.

She is survived by her Daughters: Digna Rogers, Dia Dawson and  Diria Dawson; Sons, Delano Blyden Sr., and Dwane Rogers; Stepdaughters: Willa Mae Dawson, Denise Dawson, Moretta Dawson, Laurel Dawson, Jennifer Dawson, Dawn Dawson-Freeman and Donna King; Step Sons- Darrell Dawson and Elwyn Dawson; Sisters: Cheryl Nibbs, Marilyn Nibbs, Gail Nibbs-Adolphus, Genevive Smith; Brothers: George Smith Jr., Eugene Smith and Reginald Smith; Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews Other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
