The service on St. Croix will be held on September 24, 2026, at James Memorial Funeral Home. Tributes will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.

In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Genevieve “Gingie,” Clenance, 78, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Monday, August 24, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Beryl Clenance, and her brothers, Clinton Clenance and Kervin Clenance.
She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Clenance King; brother, Johnny Clenance; nieces, Merle Clenance Perry, Marcy B. Clenance, Diana Clenance Lynch, Imani M. Clenance, Kamilah N. Clenance and Ayana A. Clenance; nephews, Cory A. King, Rashidi M. Clenance, and Kervin L. Clenance II, and many great nieces and nephews.
Extended family includes the Lindqvist, Lewis, O’Neal, Quetel, Bough, Smalls and Solis families.
Special friends include Asta Smalls Gabriel Aaron, Linda Pedersen Bough, and Magda Finch. Other friends and relatives are too numerous to mention.
