In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Gloria A. Petersen, 93, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Friday, September 25, 2026.

She was born Gloria A. Callwood on Aug. 24, 1933, to the late Gladys O. Harrigan and Christian Callwood, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, where she was also raised and educated through high school, graduating with the distinguished Class of 1952.

Gloria, affectionately known by her late husband Alvin L. Petersen and children as “Mamasan,“ is survived by her son, Egedio A. Victoria Jr.; her twin daughters, Dawn Victoria and Michelle Victoria-Bellard, who has been her caregiver since her beloved husband, ”Papasan” passed away more than four years ago and her “bonus” son, Michael “Pat” Petersen. She is also survived by her two brothers, Domingo White and David Brown. One of seven children, Gloria was preceded in death by her siblings, Eileen Robinson, Alvara Callwood, Elroy Brown and Arthur Brown.
