In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Herman Christopher, 103, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Wednesday, July 01, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mellanie Louise Christopher and his oldest daughter Eugenia Thomas.

He is survived by his children, Nydia Maynard, Lucinda (Cindy) Christopher, Jerome Christopher and Janice Christopher McClean; stepchildren Joyce Leonard, Leroy Scatliffe, and Maureen Smith; sister-in-law Ethlyn Freeman, sons-in-law Kelvin McClean, Oscar Smith, daughters-in-law Jackie Christopher, Eloise Scatliffe, and Olita Scatliffe.

Also survived by a special granddaughter Jazmyn Christopher and grandson Jahni Christopher; 36 additional grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren; nieces Muriel Lettsome, Doris Christopher, Eminie Harrigan, Shirley Hodge, Lorna Christopher and Julia Dawson Marshall; nephews Ivin Christopher, Jerry Dawson, Oberton Christopher and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
