In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Hilarine Charles,77, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (formerly of Antigua) who passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Mrs. Cleo and Percy Charles of Liberta Village, Antigua (both deceased). She was the mother of Vaugh Charles and Jacgueline Joseph in Texas and Jermaine Welch in Orlando and the adopted mother to Christopher Crossfield in Atlanta. She was the sister of: Ms. Rosalind Charles, Cynthia Charles and Vermalie Charles all in St. Thomas. She was pre-deceased by her sisters Fernella Charles and Landa Charles and her brother Mr. Earl "Jackup" Charles in Antigua. She was the Aunt to all her siblings' children and their children. Hilarine had a host of other relatives and friends in Antigua, the USVI, USA, Canada and the UK, too numerous to mention.
