In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Joan Pascal, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026.

Joan was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, and loyal friend. Throughout her life, she touched countless hearts with her kindness, strength, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her home was always a place of warmth, welcome, and compassion, and her legacy will continue through the many lives she nurtured and inspired.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Peter Pascal; her parents Leonard and Nellie Riviere, her sisters, Elizabeth, Euraline, Uthalie, and Rahill; and her brother, Fenrick.

She is lovingly remembered by: her children, Celsus, Winifred, Cecil, Lyndon, Kennedy, Jacqueline, Lucy, Mia, Nellie, Kenny, Laura, and Anne Marie. She is also remembered by her 17 grandchildren; Ava, Rheen, Tres, Evamarie, Eliya, Essthonnia, Kelis, Kenyan, Stephen, Ayanna, Dante, Pete, Aria, Arion, Celia, Catalia, Aaron, 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; her three sisters; Hilma, Vilna, and Thora, her brother, Hagan; her sisters-in-laws; Therese, Ruthie, Lydia, brothers-in-law; Gerard, Sons in-law; Darrel and Kerwin, daughters in-law; Lily, Lleen and Natalie; special nieces Glenda, Ella, Juliette, Eva, nieces Wilda, Avril, Sharon, Judy, Janice, Cheryl, Yoland, special grandnephew Leon and special grandnieces Trisha, Ikesha and Lena, nephews Matthew, Cedric, Stanley, Nigel, Ashton, Frank, Dave, Roland, Eustace, Eddie, Gerry, Mohammed, special cousin Loreen, cousins, extended family, Arlene Smith lovingly referred to as the ‘’Queen’s princess’’ and a wide circle of dear friends whose lives she enriched with her love and kindness.

She was also related to Riviere, Adams, Serrant, Abraham, Felix, Clark, Bertrand and Ryan families. Many other friends and relatives, too numerous to mention.
