In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Joseph "John" Morrell, 95, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026.

He worked for the West Indian Company for over 30 years.

John is survived by his children Leon Morrell, Leroy Morrell, Wayne Morrell, Thomas Micheal Morrell (deceased), Stephanie Johnson, Alice Whyte, and grandchildren Olivia Whyte, Leah Morrell, Jedidiah Morrell, Kelissa Morrell-Turnbull, Kenisha Morrell, Kerima Morrell, Kimisha Morrell, Sue-Tisan Morrell, Natanya Morrell, Kerron Patrick, Brandon Johnson, Leo Morrell, Akeno Morrell, Mikhail Morrell, Hector Morrell, Christopher Morrell, and many great grandchildren too numerous to mention.

He is also survived by beloved family and special friends Emmitt Teleford, Stephen Teleford, Alice Telesford, and Martha Telesford in Trinidad, Bernadette Alexander, Kenneisha Alexander, Lisha Alexander, Kenton Alexander, Quanisa Alexander, Quacee Alexander, Dudley Alexander, Kenton Alexander, Ellisa Alexander, Andrea Alexander, Glory Alexander, Eric Alexander, and Verda Alexander in Grenada, and Mr. & Mrs. Klem, Ms. Price, Mr. Allen, and many other family and friends too numerous to mention.
