Obituary

In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Dr. Kelvin Donald Marcelli also known as "Panky" or "Doc", 60, of Tallahassee, Florida (Formally of St. Thomas) who passed away Monday, March 16, 2026.

son of Valencia Marcelli, born on June 20, 1965, in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.

Dr. Marcelli was a 1983 graduate of Charlotte Amalie High School, a 1987 graduate the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, earning his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology, a 1995 graduate of the masters program at Tennessee State University, Nashville and a 2001 graduate of the doctoral program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Dr. Marcelli worked at Bethlehem Shelter in St. Thomas as Manager and the VI District Court as a Probation Officer before moving to the US Mainland in 1993.

After graduation from UT, Kelvin did a one year Residency at the VA Hospital in Gainesville Florida. He began his career with the Florida State Prison system at Starke, Florida before moving to Tallahassee. During his career, he served with distinction at the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FCI Tallahassee) until his retirement in June 2022. It was not long after retirement that he established another career as a Mental Health Counselor at Tallahassee State College. And there he served until his passing on Monday March 16, 2026.
He was a resident of Tallahassee, Florida, for over 20 years.

Loved ones who have a special place in their hearts for Dr. Marcelli are his devoted wife of 35 years Diane Wilks-Marcelli;beloved daughters Keleisha Marcelli, Kristalia Marcelli and Valencia Danielle Marcelli; and amazing grandchildren, Kyiara Lewis, Dimitri Gracia, and Jordani Gracia.

Also grieving this great loss is his Aunt Blanche Creque and his cousins: Albert Creque, Alston Creque, Dexter Creque, Kareem Creque, Kishma Creque, Lloyd Creque, Sharon Creque, Ulric Creque and Slyvio Woodley, along with many sorrowing cousins, many other bereaved relatives, and friends.

Kelvin is preceded in death by his mother, Valencia Marcelli; his grandparents,

Alfredo Marcelli and Maria Christalia Marcelli, and his brother, Wayne Nicholsen.
