He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira "Dr. Sax" Meyers and Patricia Adams Meyers Jarvis, as well as his brother, Kerry Meyers.

Kent is survived by his wife, Donnia Attidore-Meyers; son, Keniyah Attidore-Meyers; daughter, Kedeijah Attidore-Meyers; step-daughter, Dineijah Attidore-Charles; brothers, Wayne Meyers, Sr., Glenn Meyers, Irvin Meyers, John Meyers, Sr., and Kuumba Ola-Niyi; sister, Julia Meyers; uncles, Felix Thomas and Elroy Adams; aunts, Gloria Adams Hodge, Marilyn Thomas Chandler, and Beryl Plaskett; father-in-law, Harold Attidore; mother-in-law, Roma Attidore; brothers-in-law, Nell Attidore and Charles Joseph; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Meyers, Necia Frett-Meyers, Maritza Meyers, and Fairly Attidore-Mace; nephews, Wayne Meyers, Jr., Miguel Meyers, Johverne Meyers, Aaron Meyers, John Meyers, Jr., Jahmoi Meyers, Akintunde Ola-Niyi, Daudi Ola-Niyi, and Mensa Ola-Niyi; and nieces, Kamela Meyers, Nealia Francis, Juneal Francis, Aliyah Meyers, and Mandisa Ola-Niyi.
