In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Leslie Phipps, 90, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Wednesday, September 09, 2026. He passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Leslie was preceded in death by his father, Henry Phipps, and his mother, Lucille Berry-Phipps.

Left to cherish his memory are his children and their families: son, Patrick Phipps and grandchildren Patrick Phipps Jr., Micah Phipps, and Allison Phipps; son, David Phipps; daughter-in-law Indirah, and grandchildren Elizabeth and Marcus Phipps; son, Joseph Phipps and grandchildren Joseph, Aolani, Noah, Nate, Alayah, and Aaron; daughter, Tera Laureen Phipps and grandchildren Kaya and Amari Eubanks; daughter, D’Reen Constance Phipps; son-in-law Mark Corneille, and grandchildren Selena Corneille, Aun’Drea Corneille, and Lailah Corneille; and daughter, Lethia Phipps and grandchildren Constance Brathwaite-Phipps, K’Vante Brathwaite-Phipps, Le’Neya Brathwaite-Phipps, Mijah Y’Faith Boyd, and Mehniida Boyd.

He is also lovingly remembered by his great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
