In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of  Marilyn Louise Turnbull David of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Marilyn was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, godmother, soror, and friend. Her warmth, grace, strength, and unwavering love touched countless lives during her 30+ years as an educator and through her dedicated service to her Methodist church family.

Marilyn was born in 1949, as the youngest of their 8 children, to William and Frances Turnbull. Her parents, along with her siblings Alfred Turnbull, Lorna Turnbull Jackson, Elroy Turnbull, Mario Turnbull and Cheryl Turnbull, preceded her in passing.

She is survived by her sister Lucia Turnbull Gaspard, brother Angel Turnbull, Sr.; son, Verne David, Jr., daughter, Marú David; daughter-in-law, April David; grandchildren, Dominique David, Ariana David and Julian David, in addition to numerous cousins, nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly.
