In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Minister Sonia Malone, 80, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, passed away on November 22, 2025.
Born in St. Thomas, she lived a life marked by excellence, compassion, and unwavering faith. She was a respected Financial Accountant Specialist with the Government of the Virgin Islands and a beloved minister known as Minister Sonia Malone founder of Harvesting Souls for God's Kingdom Ministries, Inc.
Minister Malone faithfully served as a minister at Global Life Church Ministries for over twenty- five years, and she dedicated more than fifty years of her life to ministry work across various churches and ministries throughout the Virgin Islands, the Caribbean, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and around the world.
She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Walter Malone; her children: Lex Malone, Tracy Malone, Lynn MaloneBarnes, and Tonia MaloneStanley; eight cherished grandchildren; ten beloved greatgrandchildren; and her siblings Bascil Blyden, James Stephens, Phyllis Pickering, and LaVerne ReedClarke.
She is also remembered by a host of other relatives and friends who cherish her memory.
Minister Malone devoted her life to serving others and spreading a message of hope. Through her ministry, Harvesting Souls for God's Kingdom, Inc., she poured into the poor, the hopeless, and the homeless, feeding the hungry, clothing those in need, and offering comfort to the brokenhearted. She was a relentless financial giver, always meeting the needs of those who crossed her path. Her compassion extended far beyond the Virgin Islands as she traveled the world ministering in the streets, highways, and byways, touching countless lives with her generosity, bold faith, and tireless service.
She also gave globally to Missions worldwide through offerings to those traveling to Pakistan, India, Nigeria & South Africa.
The family extends heartfelt appreciation for the prayers, love, and support received during this time of bereavement.
