In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Pauline "Pola" "Woah" Fleming, 93, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Thursday, March 06, 2025.
Pauline was the first daughter, second sibling of thirteen children of her
deceased parents (Thomas and Iseline Hodge) of Stoney Ground, Anguilla.
She was married to Hubert Fleming (Deceased).
Pauline O. Hodge Fleming was born on February 23, 1932, on Anguilla
and resided there until she migrated in the early 1970's to St. Thomas U.S.V.I.
During her lifetime there, she was employed as a Caregiver at Human Services
at Tutu and Bovoni Head Start and at Lucinda Millin Home upon retirement.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Watkin and Whittington
Hodge, sisters: Veronica Walters and Helen Vanterpool, and grandchildren:
Thomas Hodge Jr. and Sean Fleming.
She leaves to mourn and to cherish her fondest memories, her six
children: Thomas "Magu" Hodge, Elmarie "Dorry" Henderson, Daphne "Miss
D" Bryan, Verona "Rona" Gaynor, Anon "Ailee" Francois, and Ezra "Dotsy"
Fleming.
Pauline O. Hodge Fleming is also survived by her grandchildren: Sherlita
Edwards, Camisha, Marissa, Thaddeus, and Mia Hodge, Ashley and Thomas
Fleming and Dieter Rawlins, Maureen, Trevor, and Monique Fleming, Andrew
and Tyronne Bryan, Dexter Connor, Shirlene Thomas, Nneka Richards, Alicia
Ford, Michael Francois, Chantalle Adamson, Shiseanna Grey, Seanelle Jones,
and Seaneice Arthur; forty-five (45) great grandchildren and five (5) great-great
grandchildren.
Including her siblings: Edris Phillips, Walwyn Hodge, Evelyn Bryan in
Anguilla, Cleophas Hodge in St. Thomas, Joycelyn Greer and Roselind
Lawrence in the U.S.A.
She was related to the Rogers', Gumbs' , Hodges' , Bryans', Lakes' ,
Proctors' , Cartys' , Richardsons', and Flemings'. Other close relatives and
friends too numerous mention. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for
family and friends will be forever etched in our hearts.
