It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Retired First Sergeant Reynold D. St. Louis. Reynold transitioned peacefully from this life on April 24, 2026, at the age of 81, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irma St. Louis; his father, Ebson Prescod; and his aunt, Carmen St. Louis.
Leaving behind to honor his memory are his devoted wife, June L. Brathwaite-St. Louis; his stepdaughter, LaTania Gumbs; his stepsons, Kirk Brathwaite and Richard Hoheb; his sisters, Jacqueline and Margaret St. Louis; his brother, Ralph St. Louis; and his cousins, Beverly and Wendy Carrington.
He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Albert, Alvin, Dale Brathwaite, and Austin Brathwaite Jr.; his sisters-in-law, Mary Rose, Marva, and Julia Brathwaite; Yvonne Brathwaite-Brown, Monica Brathwaite-Segobin, Janet Carrington, Cheron Grant-Todman, and Emelda Monsanto.
Reynold's cherished legacy continues through his 24 grandchildren: Rikoy and Ray-J Alexander; K'Neema, K'Nelle, and Khaleem Barthlette; Constance, Krista, Kurene, Kvante, J'Nai, Jahmelia, Kamron, Kyrie, and Le'Neya Brathwaite; Kirk Brathwaite Jr.; Kyron Correa; Rinal, Rial, Rishander, Rayniqua, and Ricoya; Richard Hoheb Jr.; Alefia Raimer; and Jahiem Tyrell; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended relatives and friends too numerous to mention, including special friend, Dr. Henry Smith; special niece, Michi Smith; adopted niece, Donna Wesselhoft; and members of the V.I. Amateur Radio Club.
