In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Rosemary Delcena Connell "Ma" Norford, 86, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Saturday, March 07, 2026.

She left behind a legacy of love, her warm smile, a heart of gold and memories that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Rosemary "Ma" was preceded in death by her husband Cecil E. Norford; mother, Miriam Jacks; father, Stratlyn Connell; and stepson, David L. Norford.  She is survived by her sisters, Yasmine Sawyer and Emily Connell-Nibbs; her biological daughter Beverly (affectionately named "Lilly" by her mother), and her step-daughter Paula N. Edwards, adopted daughter, Maria Uribe; daughter-in-law, Andrea Norford, stepsons, Derrick (Cynthia), Frederick(Jennifer), Glenville, Derwin and Philip Norford; nephews, Marlon and Glen Nibbs; special grandchildren, Carl Norford, Simone Edwards-Williams, Shenise Edwards-Daughtry, Dylan and Danielle Norford; special great-grandchildren Noah and Zion Daughtry; sister-in-law, Lucy Norford; brother-in-law, Clarence Nibb, special niece Star Nibbs and many cousins including special cousins AlfredaThomas (aka Baby), Loretta James, Katherine Drinkwater, Vanessa and Lorna Shaw and numerous extended relatives and friends, including special friends Pastor and Mrs. Leroy Luke and Sis Jascinth Bernier of Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church, Eleanor "Ellie" Blackman, Perline Walker, Marinella Maynard, Mary Lee, Averil Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Ethelson Edwards, and the  Bass, Lee, Springette, Simmonds, Blackman, Smith, Edwards, Williams and Nedd families, along with the RDF/ Upper Hospital Ground Hillside families, the Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church members and Praise and Worship team, and countless other family and friends too numerous to mention.
