In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Sheryl John of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Sheryl was born on July 31, 1952 to the late Emile Daniel Sr. and Sylvia Sewer Barry. Sheryl was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother and friend who will truly be missed.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her both parents, Emile Daniel Sr. and Sylvia Sewer Barry; her brothers Anthony Barry Sr. and Keith Daniel and her daughters Christine Daniel and Carlene Hodge also her grandson, Jamoi Arthur.

Sheryl is survived by her son, Jamel Price Sr.; daughter, Iasia John, daughter-in-law; Lynell Boyce, grandchildren; Chrissanni James, Jamel Price Jr., Jamina Price, Jahlil Price, Dynasty Bass, Jabaar & Jabrise MacTavious, Juniqua Hodge, Jaraea Richardson, Jamaar Arthur and Leroy Leonard.

She is also survived by her great grandchildren; Caleea Campbell, Calesha & Calaeja Chamberlin, Calani McMichael, Jayshawn & Legend Wallace-Price, Jer’amai & Naomi Abrams, Jestinee & Jael Vasquez, J’Nique & J’Nia Privert, Jelani Walters Jr. & J’Laeah Walters. Siblings; Emile Daniel Jr., Lydia Daniel, Bertrand & Everton Daniel, Annette Barry, also her sister-in-law, Geraldine Daniel.

Sheryl also leaves to mourn her nieces; Tyesha Toney, Monica Francis, Waleeda Daniel and Kirsten Barry. Great nieces; Ade Spencer, Anniyah Barry-Smith, Glory Francis and Jahesha Grant. Great-great niece; Iris Spencer. Niece-in-laws; Tionna Smalls-Francis and Cantrice Smith. Nephews; Gerrard Toney, Gaspar Francis Jr., Massinissa Barry-Smith, Anthony Barry Jr., and Curtis Barry. Great nephews; Hassan Spencer, Avahanni Barry-Smith, Cass Francis, Timothy Nicholson, Nathaniel Wilson Jr., Tafari & Tejai Fawkes, and Ricky Hopper. Great-great nephews; Ezra Spencer, Arlo Spencer, Aiden Fawkes. Nephew-in-law; Daniel Kearney.

Sheryl also leaves behind her uncles; Wendell and Urman Callwood, aunts; Lestelle Turbe, Esmeralda Fraser, Pearlette Chinnery and Lorna Johnson.
