In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Verna Alison Hodge, 54, known affectionately as "Alison". She was called home to her eternal rest on February 17, 2026, in Morristown, New Jersey. She was born on August 24, 1971, on St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands.

Alison's early education took place in the vibrant communities of St. Thomas, VI at Joseph Sibilly Elementary, St. Peter and Paul and Charlotte Amalie High School graduating in the class of 1989 before attending Middlesex County College in New Jersey.

Alison's professional journey as an independent insurance agent was marked not only by her keen intellect but also by her genuine desire to help others, guiding them with care and expertise.

Alison was a beacon of light and laughter to all who knew her. Her presence was a source of joy and her memory a wellspring of comfort.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hillary Hodge Sr., and brother Avery Hodge.

She is survived by her loving mother Honica Hodge, brothers Hillary Hodge Jr., Aksel Hodge Sr., nephews Aksel Hodge Jr. and Nikai Hodge, sister-in-law Cynthia Hodge, to many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
