In profound sorrow we the Management & Staff of Turnbull's Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Virginia Boyd, 73, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Friday, February 06, 2026.

Born in Dominica, she migrated with her parents to St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, at a very young age, where she was raised and became a cherished member of the community.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Richardson-Boyd; her father, Edward Power Boyd; her sisters, Monica Boyd Richards, Winetta Stapleton, Laluna Boyd Johnson, Mavis Presley, and Violet Deft; and her brother, Foster Richardson.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving daughters, Nina Duah and Sarah Boyd; her adored grandchildren, Jerah, Jeremiah, and Jana; her brothers, Emmanuel Boyd, Henry Boyd, and Tyrone Boyd; her sisters, Theresa Germain and Helen Peltier; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives she touched.

Virginia will be remembered for her resilience, devotion to her family, and the quiet strength that carried her through life. Her legacy of love and perseverance will continue to live on through the generations that follow.
